The Beauty Junky Tour, founded late 2018, allows those in media, beauty, fashion and consummate professionals to connect and share their secrets and thoughts on their respective areas of business as well as celebrate those that have made major strides and given back to others beyond the industry. This amazing event is slated to travel to the top 5 markets annually, having made its first stop in Charlotte NC during the height of the 2019 All Star Weekend on February 16th. What better way to kick things off than with a “meeting of the minds” bringing social influencers, media dynamos, fashionistas, celebrities and more, together for an educational and entertaining experience within a multi-billion-dollar Beauty industry.
Hosting the red carpet was none other than social butterfly, media and brand influencer, the lovely Jenelle Vannoy, better known as J. Belle! Her energy and involvement kept the event moving seamlessly and those walking the red carpet truly engaged. Some special guests we saw in attendance included DJ Stormy, reality star Courtney Larisa and castmate Shatava Lindsey from Will Packer’s hit show “Ready to Love”.
What really set this event off, the “Beauty Bossed Me Up” panel discussion, where we watched these industry professionals come together not just to network, but share wisdom and experiences in the various fields they majored in. Lifestyle influencer Ari Diaz, celebrity blogger and brand curator Kei Ross, literary dynamo Omar Tyree, teen rapper/Yelle Skincare and Nordstrom ambassador Amya Roxxstar, and women’s clothing designer Danae, of Shop Dette boutique, sat to talk shop, industry and the importance of TBJT; one could see this was history in the making.
Tasty hors d’oeuvres accompanied by special made frozen adult beverages, heavenly photo-ops and a room full of awe-inspiring business women and men are just a few notable elements of this unprecedented tour, in case you missed it this time around. Special, heartfelt thanks to Leslie Monet Public Relations for the vision and allowing many of us in the industry to participate in this amazing event. To witness the tour’s founder Leslie Monét on the red carpet, dressed so perfectly in her wardrobe from fashion personified Moore’s Pieces Boutique – a woman-owned/black-owned company located here in the Queen City.
Curated by Ms. Monét, the inaugural tour event was filled with positive vibes, bringing all the many units together for an unforgettable NBA Allstar Weekend affair! The remaining 2019 TBJT tour stops are slated to include Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, District of Columbia and Los Angeles
