HBO sizzles with premieres of Ballers and Insecure in the QC
The city of Charlotte was one of three locations in which HBO hit series “Ballers” and “Insecure” were premiered to the media and loyal fans of both shows, the location, The Fillmore.
In attendance were Jazmyn Simon, who plays Julie Greane in the show and Donovan Carter who also plays Vernon Littelfield in the show. Both were in great spirits as they mingled with the crowd of attendees and answered questions form the press. While both were there, it was announced that the show has garnered an Emmy nomination as well, adding to the already energy there.
Music filled the air, with delicious food and drinks area made available in the lounge area. Kannapolis artist, Shane Manier created two paintings before those in attendance that was given to the Freedom School Partnership in Charlotte, along with a financial donation from HBO. Attendees with special “t-shirt” cards were allowed to design their Ballers or Insecure t-shirt also, adding to the fun.
After the premiere of both shows, TRAP Karaoke, which is a user-generated entertainment company that actually places guests at the center of a concert experience, electrified the guests and took the party to an all new level.
