“Events like the (Fox Theatre) Soul Series, SXSW, Coachella, and others are essential in keeping the spirit of good music alive. It’s one thing to hear a recording, but it’s another to see a talented artist perform their music live. I consider it a blessing to have experienced concerts by Prince, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson, the Roots, and so many more. It just increased, exponentially, my respect and appreciation of their God-given gifts.” Billy Johnson, Jr., Veteran Music Journalist /Media Consultant
